A Name You Can Trust
Equisentials opened its doors in December 2004 above Pet Mania in Billingham. We very quickly outgrew the space available, and in January 2006 moved just around the corner to our current site on South View.
Since the early days Equisentials has gone from strength to strength and in May 2016 we took over the reins at Ride In Style Saddlery in Cleadon, near Sunderland from Stephen Hardy who had made the decision to retire. Ride in Style has served the equine community of both Sunderland and Newcastle and surrounding areas very well over the last 20 plus years and we hope under the new name of Equisentials we will continue to provide the excellent level of service that Stephen had a reputation for.
Excellent Variety of Products
We are committed to stocking a wide range of products for both horse and rider, novice or professional alike. We have an extensive range of jodhpurs and breeches for adults and children. As well as riding hats and a range of footwear, clothing, rugs, horse care products, bits, feed supplements plus a well stocked feed room.
We also regularly introduce new brands and products, many of which are based on customer recommendations, so if there is a product which you couldn’t be without and we don’t yet stock it, do let us know. We also like to trial products on our own horses so that we really do know how good a new product is and don’t just take a suppliers’ word for it.
Here at Equisentials we pride ourselves in providing the highest level of service. We only employ professional, friendly and helpful staff, who are always happy to help you. All of our staff have ridden and often competed from a young age, and have a great understanding of our customers and their horses’ needs. Our staff have extensive knowledge and training to ensure that you are able to make an informed and appropriate purchase, as well as all being trained in fitting both riding hats and body protectors for your safety.
We aim to have very competitive pricing on all products to suit every pocket. Many items are actually cheaper than other stores claiming to have ‘discounts’ on their over-inflated RRP’s.
The store aims to provide all of your equestrian needs in a friendly and relaxed environment. With over 1,000 square, Equisentials is not the largest equestrian store in the North East but has grown from strength to strength since it first opened its doors in 2004, currently stocking over 10,000 equestrian products and all at competitive prices.
